After many decades , I am finally welcoming a Belgium Browning Hi-Power into the family (will go nicely with the shotguns). I convinced my wife it was that or another gun dog.

Are there are any smithies out there, good ones, that know this weapon?

Thanks in advance.

A good condition or better Hi-Power will rarely, if ever, need work. If so, a good and reputable 1911 guy (Greyson, Cyrwus) with an armorer's video could to anything needed. Cylinder and Slide in Nebraska do any kind of Hi-Power work you'd want. Old timer JMB fans like Gene Shuey will do it too. It's a spectacular gun. Should have been worked up in .45 ACP- it would have crushed the 1911 if it had.

Ive turned away more hi-powers than anything else in the last 5 years. Had another email today, actually.

Ive promised myself not to work on any gun that i havent shot a lot, and really got to wring out the platform.
