Guys - its getting close to time to pickup your lowers. I approved the test cut today so production will be started asap.

To start getting organized we need help with what do to with your lowers. No need to copy paste as I will be updating the list - just post what you want to happen with yours.

A - PICK YOUR LOWER UP AT SOONER STATE PAWN in OKC FOR FREE
B - HAVE YOUR LOWER SHIPPED TO YOUR FFL at your cost
C - YOU LIVE IN TULSA (I'm trying to find an FFL in Tulsa to handle the shipment and distribution)


ETA - they are all going to 1 SSP location. I can't have lowers shipped all over the place sorry

If I can add a note here, thank you to Sooner State Pawn for doing free transfers on these. I don't live in OKC so I don't frequent gun shops there. Since I'll be picking up my lowers there I'll have an excuse to check it out and I'm sure I'll be buying some stuff while I'm there.

EVERYONE - I will ONLY ship / deliver lowers to the original person who paid for it. What you do with it after that is up to you. I can not keep track of everyone trying to swap or sell or anything like that. I've seen a few people that said there lower is for sale and even sent me a message that said give mine to XXXX. Nope - not going to happen - I have a spreadsheet with almost 200 lowers on them for who they belong to. You paid for it - you get it. Sell it after that is ok with me just no way I can keep track of everything!

Unfortunately no - you just asked to do a Straw Purchase which is illegal. You have to be the one who fills out the 4473.

If you're Dad or brother paid for it they can definitely pick it up.

Guys - I'm going to say this again.

The only person who is able to pick up the lower - is the person who I received money from. I will not be part of a straw purchase and let your buddy / relative get it for you. I will not give it to so and so because you both have a deal and he is buying it from you. We have almost 200 lowers to distribute - this is going to be tough enough without changing who is getting what lower.

FYI a straw purchase is only if you are knowingly buying something for someone who can't legally own it. If joe bobs brother wants to pick up his lower its perfectly legal if he makes sure SSP knows its his and allows him to get it cause his name wouldn't be on the list.

True true. You can order and pay for a gun for someone, have it delivered to an FFL, and they can go in and do the paperwork and it's completely legal. As long as the person filling the 4473 is the end user it's legal.
