This one I took from the Jeep, but I did get out & follow him for about 1/4 mile taking pictures (really surprised myself!).
He stopped a couple of times & stared at me (YIKES!).

We were just in Alaska.
Took a float plane trip to a glacier, landed on a river at a fish camp, caught salmon, and grilled them over an open fire.
Right after we finished eating, a black bear came out of the woods, headed right for us but stopped at the fire pit. The guide said that It was after fish scraps that fell into the coals. The bear actually burned his foot digging around in the pit.
