Bing and Google Bots: Registered users?

Surfing the forum today, I checked the active user list and saw Bing and Google Bots as Registered users actively online. What is that???

They are programs that search forums for posts and articles of interest........Some of the posts selected can be found during searches on related topics and you may even come across one of your own posts.

Type your user name in Google or your usual search engine and see what comes up.

Google search for something like 'SC CWP' was how I got here in the first place - it returned, IIRC, one of Enjay's posts as a search result.
