Decided it was time to change out spring in the old HK M1S90. Must have clicked the wrong button at Brownells and I ended up with a 25% reduced recoil spring. Will this cause me any issues? I have installed it and it seems to function, but I have only ran about 15 shells through it.

25% seems like a lot, maybe too much.
It might function, but might have some hammering of the carrier at the backside of the stroke.

WTF?
Found an old thread on the other good shooting forum that Benny replied to. He said full power only. I will order the right damn part again.

On a similar note, I was having failure to extract issues with my S&B low recoil slugs. I was thinking about getting either the Wolff or TTI recoil spring from MRPS, but I wasn't sure if that would help? In my simple mind, the issue is that the low recoil slug isn't generating enough inertia on the sprang(read that with a redneck accent), so it will extract the empty hull out of the chamber, but not quite far enough to eject it. Any thoughts on the matter? Also, if I replace my recoil spring with one of the lower power springs, is there any concern of cycling or anything else?

Edit: It's an M2

That's what the 10% Reduced Power springs are for.
