Okay, let's see your M14s, M1As, M1 Garands, FALs, .308 Galils, Drugonovs or SVD clones, G3s etc etc.

Requirements: Must be either a semi auto rifle that is a full power cartridge. (ok, I know 7.62x51 or .308 is technically a reduced version of the 7.62x63 or 30-06, but it counts for this) Can also be a bolt gun, so long as it is not a sporting rifle, or precision rifle.

Here are mine.

Proof that it is not a safe queen, this was deer season last year.

And a pic of it next to my almost 100 year old 1903A4 clone

Did you do the refinish on the wood? They look very nice ;)

Lovin your deer setup on the powerline right of way. Those are really great attractors for the deer. :D

The finish on the Garand is the original, on the '03 I did have to finish the handgaurd, but it is all new wood.

And yeah, I loves me a powerline easement, where I hunt they are often the only place to see more than a few yards. I hate public land....

I've been on the site to get a Garand a dozen times, but have never pulled the trigger on buying one. I don't know why either.
I shot one with blanks when a kid, at an Army reserve demo, and have kind of been hooked since.
My main hunting rifle is a 30-06 so its not like I couldn't reload for it too. :(

Man I had a powerline just west of my place that I used to hunt on. Took some serious 4 wheelin to get over there. But new landowner's an assholio so I can't cross now. I looked forward to the 3 miles of rock crawling as much as the hunt. :(

I like the finish on that old bolt gun too. Looks nice.

That 03 is hot. You know why we love these guns? Curves. The are organic. Sexy. They are real. Like Rita Hayworth. When you run your hands over the lines of a well carved piece of wood, you are touching Americana in all of her glory. The guns of our grandfathers who laid waste to entire armies of evil. Steel and wood. Pics of my M14 to follow tomorrow.

Sorry the pic is crap, but here is Charlene my TRW M14.

Hey Troy!

***** whispers *****
I have ammo. I have mags. Lets go shoot man! lol.

If I were to spend the kind of money a full auto takes, an M14 would most definitely be on my list. And believe me and todays prices, it's an extremely short list.
