Evening BS'ers.

I have been battling my 3gun barrel and accuracy for too damn long. Here is what I am currently using and probably why it patterns instead of groups.

I have been using a 18" FNH CHF 1/7 government profile barrel that I bought from CMMG years ago. It started life as a 20" barrel that was damaged when it was threaded so it got shortened to 18". I have since assembled (not built) it into my 3 Gun rifle I have been chasing the point of impact way too long and I am wondering if the barrel just sucks or if it is me (for the longest time, I blamed myself for the accuracy problems). I upgraded scopes 3 years back thinking the 1-3 Weaver Classic I had been using was the problem. I have been thinking about getting it cryo treated to see if that can pull the groups tighter. I really like how light it is with the profile, but hate how it shoots. At the same time, I am thinking about replacing it with something better (Nordic, Satern, JP, Wilson..) I know cryo is a cheaper option and that is the only reason I am considering it.

I will use the search function to see what barrel reviews have been done here. I hear good things about the Nordic and have yet to play with the adjustable gas systems.

What do you experts think?

I'm running the Satern Lightweight barrel & have sold many many of them with great feedback.

This is likely the route I go, but I will likely keep the FNH and get it cryo treated and either smoke it out on a machine gun, or make it a tact-iron rifle out of her.
