I started a site selling my Stainless AR15 trigger adjusters. They remove most of the pre-travel in a standard LPK and allow a shorter trigger reset. They work can work with some aftermarket trigger groups too. I've been making them for a few years now. I finally decided to get a site going.

The price gets lower as you buy more. Only $3 shipping.

Genius. I just read another article which involved tapping the grip screw hole all the way through and inserting a short set screw in from the top. But this solution is much more ingenuitive, straightforward and simple.

I used to tap the grip hole all the way through on in-house trigger jobs and add a set screw. Problem is that tapping does loosen the grip screw hole by removing the anodizing and some more aluminum. Also the original grip screw may require being shortened some or you can't tighten the grip down fully. With the adjuster, the set screw can be fine tuned with the whole rifle together before the Loctite dries. Usually with blue Loctite, you can fine tune a little bit even after it has set up.

Just ordered a couple. Have two rifles to experiment on. Maybe save me a new trigger group purchase.
I'll report when they come in.

David: I am waiting for a report..I am very interested in these...except every time I spend money on a gun...I trade it off the next day, it seems like...

Steve, you need to put some rosin or glue on your hand so you can hang on to a firearm for a little while.
I'm planning on installing at least one and more likely 2 Sunday. They look great. Very nice work. I'll report as soon as I finish the first one.

First of all, if you are not absolutely certain you have a long 5/64 Allen wrench then pay the 75 cents for one with the screws. I installed it on my DPMS lower with a stock M4 Del-Ton FCG that has no work done to the trigger. Initial trigger pull wt with a RCBS trigger pull scale was 8 lbs 6 ozs. After installation the trigger pull dropped to 6 lbs 10ozs. Still heavy but this is not my target AR. It eliminated the take up and it reduced the creep. It functions as promised. I think it is worth the money for the ease of improvement in the trigger. Some polishing would make this an excellent trigger. A Gisselle would make it a great rifle. Short of that, I recommend the trigger adjuster.

Save a couple for me please. After I get through the last days of this furlough mess and my GI Bill straightened out so I can stay in school, I'd like to get some.

Will do.. I have more available.

:D

I purchased 2 of these. Very fast delivery....Good Quality Pieces..

I have installed them on 2 of my AR's...I like them. Take up all the trigger slack. Have not fired the rifles yet...but, dry fires the trigger feels great.

Please....buy the long Allen wrench...99% chance you will not have the long allen that you need...

Thanks for the good review. :D

Just finished another batch. Plenty more available.

Are you local in SC or are you out of state? Once my wife gets over my few hundred dollar purchase of powder and bullets, I'll order one online. If I could buy one face to face, I could probably do it sooner (cash is hard to see on online banking lol )

I'm out of state. You can always send a MO if you don't want to purchase online. PM me for my address if you want to go that route.

Thanks for the info! I'll be in touch.

In addition to this, can anyone pin point what parts of a milspec trigger group that needs to be smoothed out, and what would best smooth it out to remove the gritty feel? Sandpaper, file, etc? I've read something about a smoothing them out online, but it's more a text write up and without seeing specifically where and what, I feel like I'd be wasting my effort.

If the Trigger Adjuster can remove the take-up and I can smooth out the milspec trigger in my back up rifle, that'd be a big help. I could cross an expensive drop in trigger off the list.

Received mine yesterday. Having an issue on a PSA lower with standard LPK. It seems the screw is too long....it won't tighten the grip up, the screw just bottoms out before snugging the grip to the lower.

I have tried it with a Magpul MOE grip and an Umbrella corp grip and same issue.......any advice short of adding a pile of washers?

EDIT: Got it. Previous owner had installed a set screw in the grip screw hole. Never saw it lol.

This thing works great!!! Glad i went ahead and bought 3.
