I doubt you are, but if you live around Wichita you can borrow my PA 1-4 to see if she likes it. It's sitting on my AR22 right now.

Thanks for the offer matt but im in central nebraska or I would check it out. She likes my burris mtac but I dont want to shell out that much cash for her to shoot a hand full of matches.

I saw a Burris tac30 on sale somewhere for 230 which is almost the same scope...lemme see if I can find it again.

Yep..that's the one if have. I think a couple other guys on here have used the same scope as well. The eye relief isn't as good as some of the more expensive scopes, but it's still a good scope for the money.

Sorry...I'm being very confusing, talking about two scopes at the same time. The tac30 is almost the same scope as the mtac. The major difference is the illumination. Mtac has a dial, the tac30 you have to push a button. I THINK the magnification ring is different too. I have the MTAC on my 3 gun rifle but I also have one of the primary arms PA14X scopes on my 22.

I just posted the link to the tac30 as that is the lowest price I have seen on that scope for awhile. The usually run just shy of 300. The PA has always been around 120.

Ahhh I see, you want to talk about the scope you were actually asking about. :-) Unfortunately I haven't looked through one to compare it to anything, nor have I seen anyone using one. Sorry to crash your thread and give you no answers to the question you actually asked.

No matt you have helped a bunch I would not have looked at primary arms scopes had you not said anything. How well do you think the pa would hold up.

Seems pretty stout to me. I'm not really hard on any of my gear but I ran it in a few 3 gun matches before I got my MTAC and it held zero just fine. I think that Matt Rigsby has one as well, and he may have used his a lot more than I did mine. Maybe he will chime in or you could send him a PM.

You'll need an extended 30mm mount for it. I used a Burris PEPR with mine. They are usually around $70 for the non-qd mount. I think that PA offers an extended mount as well for around $50 but I don't have any real experience with their mounts. Aero Precision just came out with a new mount that's supposed to be pretty dang good too, but I haven't been able to get my hands on one to check out. They run $85 and are supposed to be really light weight.

I have the bushnell and like it very much. I bought it because I like the reticle more than others. So far it has been accurately but I have not been able to get it to a 3 gun match. I have the illuminated one with the throw down lever. I wasn't sure about the lever but it is pretty nice that you can use it and then fold it out of the way when not in use. Some have said they don't like the exposed turrets but they haven't moved on me. It would be nice if they were covered
