Palmetto State Armory's deals (particularly their Black Friday Sales) enables you to assemble an AR-15 for $500.

You can walk into Wal-Mart and purchase a Colt AR-15 for $900.

Meanwhile, on Mars, there are tons of idiot retards spamming Armslist with "custom" (read: hand-cobbled by untrained bastard-faced moron) AR-15's registering over $1500 each.

How can these people make it through the day without electrocuting themselves or choking to death on their own saliva?

By the time I finish my 6.5 Grendel I'll have spent only about $600, maybe a little more depending on if I can get a nickel boron bolt carrier or not. Better to build than buy any day.

To be fair, some of the sub-$500 PSA stuff is their "PTAC" line. PTAC = bottom of the line. They lack some features that most consider somewhat important, such as chrome lined barrels. Still, it is awesome to see AR-15s cheaper than AKs. :D

ARFCOM has a complete rifle on sale for $650.00 and it's not assembled from low end parts plus it comes shipped in a hard case!

I couldn't stand it and bought one of their billet lowers, might have to pick up a barrel from them also.

BCG for $89 + $9 for the Ionbond coating at the link below...........
