I was just about to post this, and saw that you already had it covered. Thanks Michael!

Since this shoot is on the anniversary weekend of the Battle of Lexington and Concord, we will be doing some special things that you won't get to do at ordinary Appleseeds. For one, you will have the chance to participate in the longest coordinated firing line in the world, with over 100 other Appleseed events across the country firing in unison to commemorate the first heroes to die in the Revolutionary War.

As usual, you will have the chance to qualify on the 25m Army Qualification Test of yesteryear -- from the days of the M1 and M-14, when it was a bit harder than the Army's current test. Anyone who shoots Expert is awarded the coveted Rifleman's patch (see my avatar), and is able to join Project Appleseed as a marksmanship instructor, to help us revive our heritage of marksmanship and liberty.

Anyone who is shooting at or near Expert level at 25m will be allowed to attempt to qualify at full distance on USSA's 300m range. .22s are fine for 25m shooting, if you want to save that precious center fire ammo; but shooters will need to bring rifles suitable for use out to 300m if they intend to participate in full distance shooting.

Check the Event Info Page Michael posted for further info.

See you on the firing line!
