I was unloading my gun and this is the round from the chamber, it came out all discolored and what not, so I was wondering what might have caused it and if it is still a safe round?View attachment 5356

Are you using the liquid and leaving a film in there? My guess is that it's the froglube still cleaning residual carbon in your chamber?

I'd be surprised to see that if you are preheating, using the paste and swabbing it well after it cools. The metal is basically dry when doing it this way. That round is fine to shoot.

Well, the gun stays in my car during the day, as I go to school at the airport and its a federal crime for me to carry there. So near as I can figure is that it got warm and released some of the lube. I use the liquid for the scrubbing, then I do the heat and paste.

That would do it too.
