Anybody travel to Vancouver BC?

Thinking about going to the Vancouver area for a little get-away. Anybody been there and can pass along some info about fun things to do?

I have been to Victoria, BC just across the bay from Vancouver the downtown area there was pretty cool other than that we went to an air show and just hung out around downtown and the beach area. It is beautiful country up there worth the trip if you can find plenty of stuff to do.

Victoria is a place we were interested In. Take a ferry from Vancouver?

i Actually helped a friend of mines dad drive took the ferry from victoria to vancouver airport coming back, I really thought the downtown area was cool quite a few older historical buildings, went trail riding some place while we were there and my friends neighbors took us sailing one evening so i enjoyed the trip quite a bit this was back in 06 right after i graduated high school though so my memory is a little fuzzy on everything there was to do

I go to Vancouver about every other Month for work. It's a fun place to visit but the traffic sucks.

When I have free time I like to visit Grouse Mountain, walk/run to the top and take the gondola down (or the other way around). Whistler is a neat place in the summer - they have mtn biking and zip lines that are way cool. Then there's the float plane rides or ferry to Victoria. If you can do a float plane ride over some of the islands it's worth it to see some of the neat homes and big boats folks use to travel to/from work in Vancouver. And for good seafood make sure you go downtown to Joe Fortes
