I recently purchased a 21" Benelli M2 that has gone through the Accurate Iron shop through gun broker.com. It was advertised with the +5Nordic Tube.

Description:
Brand new Benelli M2 21" with Comfort tech stock, Nordic+5 extension, Nordic barrel clamp, Nordic round fluted bolt knob, Nordic Hi-Viz fiber optic front sight w/interchangeable beads, Welded lifter refit & tuned, lightened bolt w/serrations,Machined Open Loading port/With Internal polishing,Ghost load Mod,Aluminum follower,Arredondo bolt release,Trigger was cleaned/polished to remove excessive creep,Heavy Stippling on butt stock & fore end,All factory choke tubes included)...This is Accurate Iron's full Race package.Stickers can be removed with no problem.

My question is - I can only get 7 rounds of 2 and 3/4 inch shells into the tube. I'm about 1/3 to 1/2 shotgun shell short from loading the 8th round into the tube.

Do I need to get a +6 NordicComp tube to make this work? Is there any modification that can be done to make this hold 8 in the tube as currently configured?

My intent is to be able to hold 8 in the tube for three gun competitions. Any advice?

No offense to that Mike Cyrwus guy, but you're probably better off dealing with Accurate Iron directly.

Gents - Mike got in touch with me and recommended I check a couple of things. Sure enough, I found two parts on the spring.....the after market NC red cap, and the Benelli stock red spring guide. Removed the Benelli guide and 8 shells in the tube as promised.

Being as I bought the gun blind on Gun Broker - but Mike's reputation stood out on sites like this - I snagged it up without hesitation. When I got to my FFL dealer to pick it up, they already had it assembled and were drueling all over it.

Glad I bought it as I now feel I have the perfect shotgun for three gun competitions.

Thanks all for the help!

LOL, it had both the factory & the aftermarket follower in the tube?

Glad Mike got you fixed up, You'll be able to have a lot of fun with that shotgun.

probably, but the way I read it sounded like it had the 2 followers (it just sounded funny when I read it)
