SOME of the Academy's, incl. G'ville, are getting Federal XM855/62gr. in a 30 gal. sealed drum--- 12,500 rnds. for $6500...all or none.
weighs 350#, bring a truck.

That's about $10.40 per box, not bad by today's standards, but by no means a deal considering they were $179 per can of 420 ($8.50/bx) one year ago.

I would pay $5 just to see 12,500 rounds in one place.

where were those drums when it was $250/1000?
