Academy sports fiasco

So, today is the opening day for Academy down here in Lawton. I had planned on being here in the hopes of them having ammo. About a week ago they send a flyer out saying the first 100 people inline would get a free cooler also. So I figured well heck free cooler and some ammo all in one say why the heck not. When I arrived, however, I am told if I want the free cooler to get in one line but if I want to go inside and be a paying customer buying ammo get in another line. Yeah the GM at this new location is starting off making a great impression on local Lawton shoppers.

Oh yeah, I got a 1000 rd case of 5.56. Little pricy but I an good on ammo for awhile.

It is still a little frustrating. 90% of the people inline for the free cooler got their cooler and left where I went in and dropped half a paycheck in 30 seconds.

Oh great, that's where all of the ammo went, to the new Academy all the way down in Lawton...well good for them!

Just kidding, glad things worked out, you clearly made the right decision.
