Does anyone foresee any issues with making TEAM USSA a non-profit organization? Self Sustaining, Tax Exempt and tax deductible donations. All sounds pretty amazing to me. Would then sponsors have a tax right off for sponsorship? A lot of questions here and I'm just getting started on my research. Just wanted to shoot this out to you all and see what your thoughts are on the matter. ~JW

match fees, benefit matches, "range rentals", consumables (maybe sponsored items) ect.. Your winnings I would assume are yours as they are not associated with proceeds of the team. That being said though if you were to donate some of your winnings to the team lol. it would be Tax Deductible.

I hate to defer,,,,but if CK can't answer the legalities of this he could direct us into the right direction.

I don't do that kind of law but usually those types of organizations are actually involved in charitable work of some sort. I'm not sure what the "charitable purpose" of a shooting team would be?
