Sold/Expired .45 ACP 100 round boxes for $25.97

Walmart is resetting the hunting and ammo sections this week. Along with other new ammo, they have 100 round boxes of Federal Champion 230 grain FMJ .45 ACP for $25.97. Thought I'd pass it along as I haven't found brass cased (though likely small pistol primer, doesn't bother me) .45 ACP anywhere near that price, even online.

I've read about this. Some say small primer, others say its the large pistol primer. I don't know.
What I do know is that you can order ammo from walmart, have it shipped to the store, and there is no shipping for that same price.

I can't confirm this, but I heard through the grapevine that some walmarts are going to start stocking pistols again.
I'll believe it when I see it.

I'll have to talk to my Wal Mart again, I have been told that I can't order ammo, that it first come first serve. Do you pay online and not pay sale tax along with the free shipping? Thanks

My walmart told me you have to pay sales tax on anything.
I might have to be corrected, as I've ordered guns from them, as well as other items that have had no shipping. Walmart.com

Another thing is that not all walmart sporting goods personell know the rules for ordering anything.One will say they cannot order it, and the next will do it. Our local manager of sporting goods is into paint ball, and there is two isles. Hunting has one. They can order what they want, and not order as well.
