Heck with a shop like that, why stop at 300 Win Mag? 338 Lapua, 50 BMG, 700 WTF... why not?

I wonder if 300 WSM would be easier to build, with its shorter OAL?

Yours for only $5,699 Retail without scope! 300WM ammo starts at $22.50 at CTD and goes all the way up to $58 a box.

All kidding aside though, those are very nice 1,000 yard groups and the recoil looks very well managed. Win me the lottery and I'm gettin' one! or two!

lottory is over now but if i had won i had planned to buy one for all my buds on the forum. and a case of ammo.

ok, nfa question.

do they have to have permission to make that?

id bring mine to the Shootzenfest and let you guys shoot it.

Good point there Tigerstripe. Isn't the maximum caliber size something like .50 BMG or something? I was watching that Cajun Pawn show a couple of times a while backthat had a Boys .55 Antitank rifle on. It actually had to be rebarreled at .50 BMG to be legal here, otherwise it would be akin to a WMD I guess.

I thought the gun was an AOW, but the rounds DDs. As in, 40mm grenade launcher is an AOW. 40mm grenades (as in HE rounds) are DDs. Am I close?

The 40mm grenade launcher is a DD because it has a bore size bigger than 0.500", the HE rounds are DD because they contain over ?? oz of explosives. The HE 40mm are also regulated as explosives and that entails all the certifications and whatnot the fed and state require for that explosives class.

That's how I understand it anyways.
