.300 blackout

In USPSA, if you can consistently maintain 320 power factor, yes. The requirements of USPSA rules are .30 cal and 320 pf.

FNH is the only outlaw rule set of which I am aware that does not specifically state ".308 win or larger."

But, I don't know if USPSA has a heavy optics division. It's been a long time since I've shot any USPSA 3 gun.

HM rules are so jacked! Every match is different. Texas Multi Gun is .30 or larger. You can't take advantage of the 60 roun mags though as every match limits you to 20.

How does .300 blackout recoil compare to a .223 or .307? Thats the biggest advantage you would have to gain at the few matches you could us the cartridge at.

The AMU had been using it in USPSA Tac optics to make Major PF. I think with the new time plus scoring Major/Minor is a thing of the past though isn't it?

I find recoil is about on par with a .223, but the only rounds I have fired have been heavy subs through a suppressor. It is very quiet though.

It was more along the lines of buying just an upper to compete in heavy metal or heavy metal optics than having to buy a whole new gun just to compete in a different division. What I dont understand is why not just make HM optics everything the same as HM except for a magnified optic on the rifle. It kills me, i cant see good enough for iron sights, but want to run my pump and .45. If i put a scope on there, im going against m2's and 9mm. I just dont get it.

yes Jesse, I talked to some guys about it and they are stickin with .223 since there is no power factor anymore.

The main reason I'm asking is because i want to use LOKI to build an upper like the 3g because I like there products and don't think they will build an ar-10 for the same price, but ill ask
