Not a 3-gun but I went to a Steel Challenge there last weekend. It is a small but very nice range. It was the quickest running match I have seen.

It was run efficiently. I really enjoyed it. There were shade trees in some of the areas that helped prevent the sun beating down on you. They had dedicated ROs and scorers for each stage. I'd go back. They used practiscore. I've never shot 3gun so I couldn't tell you one way or the other. I just looked up some of the matches and it looks like they usually only have a dozen shooters. I guess that could be good or bad depending on your goals.

Great review.

I was wondering if it was a quick match because it was well run or quick because there were very few shooters.

I may try and go shoot their 3-gun match next weekend. I'm waiting on confirmation that it is still happening.

The owner is a full time Deputy. You might give him a call during the advertised hours. It appears to be mostly family ran. I know they are getting ready to do a GSSF regional really soon that might conflict with a regular scheduled event.

I just got an email confirmation that the 3-gun matches are still happening on the 4th Saturday of the month.

They have a GSSF match every July.
The last couple years it has been on the same weekend as the July Run 'n Gun in Pawnee.

Says they allow .22 and PCC for the rifle targets. That's hella cool.
Welcome to 3-Gun Nation Clun Series. At OKCGC with no real long range PCC 3-gun would be great. Unfortunately that cumulative time scoring sucks balls.

He signed on as a member right after he opened the range and used to announce his matches. Didn't stay around long.

Shot this match. I'm newer to 3-gun. Nice range, complicated stage. Way to long for stage one. I did not shoot stage one as my group started on stage 3. I shot stages 3, 4, and 2. group A had not finished stage 1. I had to meet the wife or I would have shot all 4. 223 flyby qualifier, SG & pistol stage, and death star stages all where fun. video on my crappy jerking trigger, but fun.

only vid i got http://

Thanks for that report. Were there some stages with more movement?

yes, on movement stage brief descriptions below.

they had a SG/pistol stage that you ran from one bay to the other.

Long field course that was a large bay have movement for about 100 yards. rifle shots of 100ish to point blank. pistol from point blank to 20 yards. shotgun spinner, standard texas star, plate rack, buck shot & slug targets mixed in on one stage. So a long field course of knowing how to manage your SG with mixed array of slugs, buck, and bird. rifle had to know your hold overs. pistol was not real long range, but getting out there on small targets.

3 gun nation 223 fly by qualifier.

The coin flip stage with the death star. (my above video) Any pointer will be welcome. YES, don't jerk the trigger is the first one!!!!

hope that helps.
