3-Gun at OKCGC Returns 2/22/14

3-Gun matches will resume at the OKC Gun Club on the 4th Saturday of the month, starting February 22nd.

LETS DANCE!

Sign in starts at 9:00am. Shooting to start at around 9:30-10:00am.

Cost is $15 for OKC Gun Club Members
Cost is $20 for non members

Set-up will start around 2:00 p.m. on the Friday before.

From the Match Director:

For 3-gun matches, plan on 75 pistol, 75 rifle, and 50 shotshell, each and every time! Always bring 5 -10 slugs. If we need any special shotgun ammo like buckshot, that will be announced, but if you always plan on that you will be fine. We don’t usually post the stages or the round counts â€" just show up and shoot. (Note: these are the minimum ammo requirements and I personally bring 100 pistol, 100 rifle.)

Has anything changed on the 1,2, and 300yd bay? Up grades, changes, deletions etc. Just got my new AR barrel up and running and it is awesome. Haven't sighted in past 30 yards, but am aiming high from there on closer. Waa Whooo Looking forward to it!

I would expect more of a 3GN style match. Even at 25-30 meters the right target can be a real PITA even with a scoped rifle.

Damn, I was hoping they were going to get this figured out. I really liked that long range during the 3 gun. I liked practicing there as well. Shooting paper on the rifle range blows.
