3 Gun at OKC Gun Club Saturday March 24th

Oklahoma City Gun Club will be hosting its monthly 3 gun match at the North end of the Action Pistol range on Saturday March 24th.

Sign in starts at 9:00. Shooting to start at 10:00.

Cost is $10 for OKC Gun Club Members
Cost is $15 for non members

We will be shooting 5 stages unless the weather shortens things up. Plan on an all rifle long range stage and a shotgun jungle run.

Set-up will always start around 2:00 p.m. on the Friday before.

From the Match Director Kurt Miller:

For 3-gun matches, plan on 75 pistol, 75 rifle, and 50 shotshell, each and every time! Always bring 5 -10 slugs. If we need any special shotgun ammo like buckshot, that will be announced, but if you always plan on that you will be fine. We don’t usually post the stages or the round counts â€" just show up and shoot. (Note: these are the minimum ammo requirements and I personally bring 100 pistol, 100 rifle.)

**Future Change for 3-Gun: Starting in April will be increasing the fees to $15 for OKC Gun Club members and $20 for non-members. This will help cover the cost of clays, up-keep of the props, and some new props and equipment.**
I have attached a few potential stages to get you excited about the match.

It's always worth the drive from DFW. Get those light weights Darby and Hallock to car pool up with you. I keep hearing about these 100 shooter monthly club matches around the country. I think we need to hit that number here too.
 
Bring DuBois too. He's gonna need some practice before USSA and Fallen Brethren. if u guys ever want to come up the night before you're welcome to crash at my place.

Can't make it this weekend to OKC. This light weight needs to stay in Dallas and practice so one day I can be a heavy weight like you. The long range rifle stage looks like fun.
 
What program are you using Jesse? I could get it and if I knew what all was to be had could come up with some devious stages hehe

An inventory of what all is out there that we can use to shoot at would be nice to have also to set some stages also, like poppers, stars, flippers ya know. Later,

I just use a word file that contains some shapes and copy and paste them into power point because it's more flexible. I can email u the files real easy like. The trick with stage design is being able to set up what you have in mind. It really challenging to safely present targets while at the same time hissing them from the shooter.

I sure as hell do. I sent John, Matt, Curly, Kurt and Mike an email asking about using your new online registration for the 3 gun match. Since I'm pretty sure I am going to be the one running sign in and printing score sheets I think we should set it up for a trial run.
 
I thought this was cancelled!!! Im going if its on, and ill be bringing the mouse gun this time... :O

No No No, not on the 24th. I will be at the NRA WC in New Mexico that weekend. Oh well maybe i can make the next one.
I know it will be a lot of fun.

We will be setting up the Friday before the match. We will be a little short handed this month so any help with setup would be greatly appreciated.
 
Thanks to Kirk and Wall i was gonna try to make this my first three gun match, (just ordered a tube extension in fact) unfortunately i just realized i'm gonna be out of town on vacation. I sure hope to make the one in April though. those stages look badass.
