I need to spend more time on here I would have been all over that if the barrel was shorter.
On that what would it cost to cut down the barrel?

Yes you do!

If it had a 21" barrel it would have been $200 more probably. Those things are like gold right now. I found a place in Kentucky called Rose Action Sports that will cut and thread a barrel for $60. They did an 870 for me and it turned out great. The problem you might run I to like I did with my two 26" barrels is that when you cut them down to 18-20" there isn't enough barrel thickness for a standard choke so a thin wall choke must be used and the price goes way up. Briely cut mine and threaded them for $150 each. The thin wall flush chokes are then like $60 each. Ouch!

Steve Baldwin cut mine, and made an extended light mod choke for it. I want to say it was less than $150 total. The drawback is not being able to use just any Benelli choke, but you don't NEED anything else.

If I were you I'd just go with the 24". Often it is advantageous to use a 9 or 10 round tube anyway!!
