Greetings All!
We are in the process of putting together the 2017 Arkansas Section Championship and have a few changes and the dates to announce here.
The 2017 Arkansas Section Championship will be held June 15-18, 2017 at the Old Fort Gun Club near Ft. Smith, AR. We have set the match up for registration in Practiscore and you may locate it by searching “Arkansas Sectionâ€. Entry fee is $130 for adults and $65 for juniors. It is active for registration now.
The match format will remain the same as last year. Staff will shoot Thursday and Friday, one all-day squad for Friday, and 10 squads for Saturday/Sunday. In the past 3-4 years, we have been able to complete this match in one day, and I believe we can accomplish that again this year. We agreed that Sunday needs to be in there just in case Mother Nature creates her problems.
The match will consist of 10 fun stages as we have designed in the past with a minimum of 253 rounds. Recognized divisions will be OPEN, LIMITED, PRODUCTION, SINGLE STACK, PCC, and CARRY OPTICS.
Once you have registered, you will get an automated response from Practiscore verifying your entry. I will later follow up your entry with a “welcome letter†which will contain match information as well as hotel options. For those of you who have never been to OFGC, hotels and great restaurants are less than 15 minutes from the range.
Please pass this match information along to others you think might be interested in attending.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Sincerely,
David Hyden
Arkansas Section Coordinator
