2014 Spring Shootzenfest

Is it too soon to start talking about the spring shoot? I was really bummed the fall shoot got canned because of the weather. Hopefully this will help to get the ball rolling.

Yeah, it was postponed on account of winter- the following Saturday was actually the first official day starting it. Mind you, with being so close to Christmas then it would have had an extremely poor turnout- hence why it never happened.

Couple of months from now y'all will be bangin' away- it will be here soon...

Perhaps we should take this chance to swap the locations, spring Shootzenfest in the upstate and fall Shootzenfest in the low country. Might fit the seasonal weather at the locations better.

Haven't a clue, Pops should have chimed in on this by now- fordnut and I put the word out to the Bosses earlier last month...

The last weekend of May is charleston show. Fairgrounds. Here are three weekends in between that we have off.

Got this reply in a PM from Pops this morning:

I have been trying to get a good date that Frost and I can both attend.

So far the second Saturday in June is what we're looking at.
We missed the last one due to rain so I hope this one works out.
It's just been hard to get it started for some reason.

I won't repeat what was said about the pizzas, this IS supposed to be a family Forum.

Last upstate shoot I saw someone with a 5 ton military truck. How about bringing that beast down here to carry all our stuff upstate. Nothing like a truck full of armed and rowdy rednecks heading north to get the locals talkin.

I also PMed back to Pops about clarifying where it's supposed to be, especially since there has been talk of switching venues. Hope he answers back soon- if I get anything more y'all will get it ASAP!

June 14th is the projected date. Pops has e-mails to the rangers of both firing ranges to see if anything might be scheduled for them at that time. He should be getting replies shortly, so we will do our best to keep everyone informed.
