Had a couple people try and tell me it was disrespectful to the deer to camo dip the skull. I asked if they meant more so than smacking with a 165 grain nobler and reminded them that until they pay for my bills to kindly keep opinions to themselves.

There are always people that will not like one thing or another. I got into a pretty good discussion with a guy on the Board of Directors of Boone and Crockett at the Dallas Safari club annual meeting a couple of years ago about how and why they score the way they do. I have three bucks that would have made B&C, but with deductions in the score, they didn't make it. Got kind of loud for a bit until security showed up. LOL...:D

I'm an advocate that gross score is what the animal should be scored with. As a land owner and person that takes care of the deer herd at great expense, its not respectful to the deer to advocate it has to be perfect before it can be judged a great animal with a great rack.
