I know how you feel I had to watch Eric and Chambers play with there's all day Sunday, but at least mine is on the way that is somewhat comforting.
I'm running an XPS 2.2 on mine (18" RFL Length), works f'ng great.

If you realy want one I would call and ask for Ken. We still ahve two rifles on order from the late additions to the group buy. You might be able to get in on that action if you sweet talk him. heck even if you could get the same price on the handguard it would be worth the call. Please name drop Kurt Miller, Mike Pinto, and the BoomerShooter group buy.

I emailed them through their website and did some name dropping. Hopefully I'll hear something back today. Found a 16" with midlength handguard over on Enos butthe guy has it on a lower wanting to sell it as a rifle. I pm'd him to see if he would just sell the upper. Haven't heard anything from him either. The one on OSA is already gone. FML. DO WANT!!!

I only takes 20 for them to honor the group buy pricing. I'm sure the wouldn't turn down $8,000+ if you found the buyers. I'd be happy to organize it.

Ken from NC just emailed me back and said they're waiting on some components for their next run of uppers which should be in a few weeks. Guess I'll just have to sit on my hands until then

You be waitin' son. The gun components side of Nordic is a customer of their manufacturing business so they wait for parts just line everyone else. I was told that they ate waiting for their barrels and bolts to be built for your gun.
