    Help needed.......

Been awhile. UPDATE: I did end up selling all of it to one buyer, locally. I think it was better than selling it at auction, with the premiums, and fees involved. The lower fee's that are associated with the no-reserve listings looked good, but then, who knows how the crowd will go. I did...

    Checking the waters

Put a flat CMC 3.5 lb. trigger in that 10mm today. Guess that means another trip to the range tomorrow or Friday to make sure it still shoots. I'll just have to force myself to go back.;)

That's a beauty!! If it shoots as good as it looks, I'd say you got a winner!!

Thankyou Bob, left over from my upbringing, finetuned by the military, a half century ago. Still plugging along.

No chrono, but did get to shoot it today. A bunch different stuff. First mag was reman ball, here's the target. 50 yrd. Not bad for a 75 yr. old with a bad eye. I see no problem using this in deer season. I think it'll get better down the road, only put 70 rds. thru it today. Shot steel...

    What did you carry today?

G43 or Sig P365, both fit the same holster, no 1911 on stay home days.

    FOR SALE Wlson EDC X9

Selling this "safe queen" it's only been out one time, and that was less that 50 rds. To me, it's not a carry gun, too expensive to use, and have it land in an evidence room. I bought it all new, comes with case, range bag, 13 Wilson mags. and original papers. $3000 FFL/FFL

    Checking the waters

Agree, but here's the problem, or maybe it's not. I gotta have a 10mm pistol to go with it! Right? I mean, a guy's gotta do what a guys gotta do. Here's the rifle.

    Checking the waters

Something that wasn't really of interest to me in the past. I'm building an AR in 10mm auto. Just about finished. Should be shooting it this week sometime. The more I read, the more interested I got. I wanted to build something I didn't have, and 10 was on that list. Will try to use it on...

Is it time to retire the 1911?

1911 pistol + D&L 200 grain RNSWC = perfection. (or as near to it as I can find today)

    1911 Picture Thread...

Thanks! Some feel left out now and then, they only get to play on a range day. They're all jealous of the current EDC brother.

    What 1911 brands to avoid?

Wow, I forgot that one Blackbeard! I had a Para after they sold. That thing refused to work. It had all kinds of problems. My gunsmith thought I should sell it for scrap! That one is a really BIG no. I have three Kimbers, all good shooters.:)
