I've got one of the old style JP/VTAC handguards I took off a rifle a while back. It's definitely used but in good shape. There is one screw broke off in the barrel nut. I've got a set of brand new screws but haven't gotten around to drilling out the broken screw. Chris Patty www.cpwsa.com

I took some of our 16" barrels and cut them down to 14.5", then permanently attached a muzzle brake to prevent having to get a SBR tax stamp. Testing this setup now. I'm liking it so far. The small bit of length reduction is noticeable when comparing the 14.5" upper to the 16" barrel version...

Flatland Shooter - agreed. With the ATAC and a flip up front, or a regular CMore with co-witness irons, it ain't a bad close quarters tactical setup either for everything except extreme hard use environments.
