    Car Vs. Semi

Glad everyone is okay. There is always a little fear after something like that. Takes some time to get past it. I was rear ended when I was 16 yrs old and I still watch the people behind me pretty closely. Spun out on an icey bridge about 19 yrs ago, still approach them with much much more...

Steel challenge at USSA Sept. 2nd

Well I guess I’ve got some serious work to do to improve the time frames. Probably need to change my stance and definitely practice at a greater distance from the targets. Also need to look at different sights for quicker target acquisition. I normally wear bifocals, basically glorified...

So do you wear your bi focals when your shooting? Seems like I do better if I take mine off.

Black Widow on Front Sight Mag

We get some tarantulas out here from time to time. I have a picture somewhere when I let one crawl up my arm. They won't do anything to you if you stay calm. I always let them be.

    Range Master 1911

Everyone keeps talking about these 1911's and put a craving on me. I'm still researching makers and cost so I can find one that will be right for me. I'll look at the STI Spartan too. Thanks for the info

    Range Master 1911

Thinking about purchasing a Springfield Range Master 1911. Will probably have to sell a couple of mine to do so but I feel like I have to have one, a 1911 that is. Any comments on this particular one? I like Springfields and they have some good reviews on this model.

Black Widow on Front Sight Mag

I've killed several out at the house. They appear to be multiplying. For the most part they have been in the garage and barn, luckily haven't seen any in the house. I spray pretty regularly. It's called Home Defense I believe. Works really well and it kills scorpions.

    My plan for sucking less

When I used to play golf a lot and practiced too much before a tournament it hurt more than it helped. I found that if I gave it a rest I would do better. Sounds like you practice quite a bit so don't over do it. Plus everybody just has a bad day now and then.

    Draw?

Same for me. Seams to be the most comfortable in that position. Plus I'm afraid I might flash it if it's on my backside and not know it. Wouldn't want to get in trouble...
