I'm a long time 1911 fan and owner, and have always taken them for granted, since when I was an MP in the Army, they were the duty weapon for patrol. I bought a Kimber early on (early 90s or late 80s?) and loved it, and have recently dived back into the 1911 pool. Always like to see pictures...
