    Streamlight TLR-3

I have a TLR-2 IR on my AR and it is awesome. It is the "C4 LED Technology", which is plain and simple LED. It's battery life is practically infinite, especially with Li-ion. The beam on my streamlight is at the nicely balanced between floodlight and spotlight. It lets me see a wide enough...

    How often do you Carry?

I carry totally randomly. Sometimes I just decide to carry. I don't go the waistband approach though, I use a thing called the Kangaroo underarm holster. It is actually pretty comfortable and doesn't restrict any movement at all. The only downside is that during a sticky situation you would...

1 Stage vs 2 Stage Triggers

I definetely prefer a two stage trigger. I love knowing exaclty when and where the shot is going to break. It could be a mental thing, but I feel like I have much greater control over my shots. I used a two stage trigger to hit long range targets at the Larue and Ironman 3 gun events. Oh...

Which Geissele trigger should I buy?

I used the S3G on my irons rifle and loved it, until I used the Geissele two-stage. The two stage allows for much more controlled trigger pull. You know where the trigger breaks. The S3G just breaks. It vanishes into an aybss and is never able to be found. I shot probably 2k rounds with the...

    Home Protection

+1 on the dogs, they can be a serious deterrent to any would be thug. As far as a firearm in every room I can't match that, but I do have a loaded firearm on every floor. GLOCKs of course!!!! I think a weapon in every room is the most realistic approach to home security when you are actually...
