Havnt been out since the last steel challenge, or was it the zombie shoot, or was it the last multigun? Hell I cant remember. Anyway, this place is an outstanding facility and we cant wait to get the holidays beind us and get back out there shooting in Jan! (Hope this great weather holds)
We shoot steel challenge and 3gun at USSA. We were using the Glock 35. Bought the XDm 5.25 9mm and absolutely love it!!!! Both are great guns but my suggestion would be to shoot both and see which fits you best
I just like to shoot em all, pistol, rifle, & shotgun. Just got our FNSLP back from CRUMS so Michelle & I may have to check out Josh's Pro-Am at USSA this month.
No biggie Jesse, we had fun! We'll do better next month with the right ammo and a new comp for the AR. Maybe some trigger work for the Glock 35, it's bone stock. Gotta have C-RUMS weld the carrier on that SLP tho. Wife almost lost her thumbnail!
Our first 3gun at USSA was a blast! Learned A LOT about what ammo runs and what doesnt. I think we both did good for our first time (Didnt DQ on a single stage). Everybody was very nice and helpfull to the noobs. I think I've created a monster tho. I worked overtime yesterday to feed my wifes...
FENIX PD-10, PD-20, or PD-30. Absolutely AMAZING lights for the price. I have them on my person, in my truck, and all over the house. Absolutely love them.
Last weekend at USSA Corley mentioned a place in MO where I can send the lift gate out of our FN SLP shotgun to get it welded up but I didnt get all the info. Can anyone fill me in with a name / contact number for the guy in MO to send it to to get welded up so it'll guit eating our thumbs?
Thx for the info! Went to AAC's website. Think I'll go with the BRAKEOUT™ 51T Compensator. Should help and my M4-2000 can will still fit. Thx again guys.
Well, along with many other lessons I learned today, I think I need a screw on comp for my M-4 configured AR. The AAC flash hider I have on there now is great for mounting the Advanced Armament .223 can but does nothing to decrease recoil or prevent muzzle flip. What are some of the favorite...
Thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome, all the helpful hints, and generaly just puting up with the newbies. We learned A LOT and had a blast! Yes, we're hooked! Thanks again, see yall next month if not before.
I'm sure you'll do great. Unlike me, Sunday will be my first 3gun in Tulsa. Prety nervous. Been stalking the competitions for a while. Wife decided it time for us to just jump in and do it. Josh at USSA said all shoooters are welcome so we'll see how it goes.
