Is Tisas a good 1911 option?
For a entry level pistol I think the R I would be a better choice , as hickok45 said . If you listen to the review carefully you understand the pistol had several jams at 150 and 200 rounds. The trigger and sights are not good , and if you want to change the grips you must also change the... -

Im not familiar with Tisas , but remember reading about problems with Turkish gun barrels , not sure if it was process or material but they had problems ! may want to do your research . A lot of foreign gun manufacturers are well known for embellished claims ! A used quality USA firearm may well... -

AR-15 Magazines
One advantage of Pmags is the availability of wall mounts , much faster accessibility than metal mags in a ammo box ! Also they fit a little better in mag belts or Molly vest. But like everyone else has said never had any problem with the old alum either. -
