    Red flag laws

Virginia “Red Flag Law” In 1970 the US Supreme court ruled as follows: Goldberg v. Kelly, 397 U.S. 254 (1970) Welfare benefits are a matter of statutory entitlement for persons qualified to receive them, and procedural due process is applicable to their termination. Pp. 397 U. S. 261-263. The...

Can someone translate my friend trying to help me, told me?

Steel cased ammo will gum up the works. The lacquer used as a rust inhibitor will melt in a hot chamber causing a fail to extract. I see a steady supply of these failures in my shop right now. The ammo shortage causes people to use ammo they would usually avoid, I guess. Glock makes a fine...

    Garage find today..

I still have a High Standard Sentential Deluxe, 9 shot revolver, from 1971. The price on the box is $23.00. It still shoots super. I can remember paying a quarter for a box of .22 long rifle at Sears in the 60s. I also have a Sears Model 20 12 gage pump shotgun with the smoothest action of...

I just wish these "joke" videos would go away. It's sad, but there are people out there that think this stuff is real.

Need to decide. PLEASE help me make the RIGHT decision!

I personally like the Ruger SR1911. The plunger tube is cast into the frame rather than staked. It will never get loose. Ruger Customer Service is second to none. They go out of their way to help. Finally, Ruger has no warranty at all. They simply rely in their reputation to "make it...

I personally do not buy Kimber; what you are actually buying is the name. For budget 1911s I buy RIA. For midrange I but Ruger SR1911. Just personal preference don't read anything into it.

    Rock Island 1911's

Most 1911s require a little fitting to install a beavertail grip safety. It is not hard, but precision is required. Brownell's sells a jig by Wilson Combat for doing it. Use good files as you will be filing the frame.
