    Coming soon

Even in Columbia they won't give you the same deals that are on the website. At least they wouldn't for me on a 1911 I wanted.

    New to ARs, first AR

I don't have all the necessary tools to build assemble an upper, so I will be looking for a complete upper. I'm not really interested in having to also buy all the needed tools right off the bat here. I'm moving this weekend and just refit a boat, so I'm in recovery mode for the bank account...

    New to ARs, first AR

It only took me nine months to get started, but there's a start now. Picked up a PSA stripped lower at the Mt. Pleasant store today. May have mentioned already that I wasn't in a hurry, and still not, so this may still progress pretty slowly.

    Break in

I have fired 625 rounds through my new FNX-9 and now consider it "broken in" and worthy of carrying it on my side. Did it need 600+ rounds of break in? Probably not. But I now have 100% confidence in the gun. I had 1 FTF within the first 10 rounds. I had a lot of problem with the slide not...

New pistol - FNX-9 - updated with a range report

New pistol - FNX-9 Cleaned, changed the backstrap, loaded down the mags, and left the slide locked open to help start loosening things up a little. Made a trip to Cabela's to get a mag loader and 250 more rounds. Things look to be shaping up for a fun weekend!

New pistol - FNX-9 - updated with a range report

I sold a G26 and a Tisas 1911 in order to look for a new gun and hopefully pocket a little extra. Never really considered one before, but stumbled on a FNS-9 and fell in love with the feel. That got me looking at the other FN handguns. Now just less than a week later after selling mine, a new...

WANTED - FNH FNS or FNX pistols

Well, I'm no longer looking. Went to look at PSA today chasing a 'sale' on a different gun I saw online. Long story short, I brought home a new two-tone FNX-9. :D

WANTED - FNH FNS or FNX pistols

Thanks for the re-affirmation on the choice! I really want the 45, but just a little hesitant on the size/bulk difference for the rest of the gun. A good 4" 1911 is still in the cards though  , and a lot easier to find than the FNX-45. I confess, I do love a 1911. I also see a place...

    Sent mine off today...

I'm the same way. Although I know it's concealed well, I feel like everyone around me knows it's there. It's for sure a different mindset for me. When I have it on me I'm much more aware of my surroundings. I chalk that up as a good thing.

2nd Accidental Shooting this week involving a child

On the law, if it's true that would be news to me as well. But hey, wouldn't be the first time (and definitely not the last) that the news is wrong and/or writes inaccurate information. On the second comment, CWP holder or not doesn't matter, either way they were irresponsibly stored/handled...

    SLED process is improving

My permit just showed up in the mail in 44 business days, including whatever holidays and snow/ice storm days happened since I mailed it. Took the class on Sat. 2/8, dropped in the mail on Mon.-Tues. 2/10-11 can't remember which day exactly, and just showed up in my mailbox Sat. 4/12.

backstreet bar and grill in clemson

    1. Guy could've been a little smarter about posting his business. 2. The place sucks anyways before all of this so you're not missing much by avoiding it now. At least it sucked all 4 years of my college career which was recent. 3. Taking to Yelp to make political statements is quite possibly to...

    CABELAS GRAND OPENING

The new Cabela's in Augusta is opening this Thursday, 3/20. Just thought I'd throw that tidbit in there since Augusta is a little closer to Mt. P than Greenville is. However, this Augusta store is only 42,000 sq ft compared to the 100,000 sq ft Greenville store. Unless you're planning on buying...

Looking To Relocate from Konnecticut To SC

Correct, to get a nonresident carry permit in SC you have to own land here. At least that's how I understand it as well.
