    Question Regarding Legal Ownership

to add to Fordnut's statment 'SC residents can also keep a loaded firearm in the glove box or center console WITHOUT a permit.' I once had an officer stop me while patrolling the neighborhood. He saw me carrying a rifle across my lawn. He stopped at the curb and asked if he could see my...

    Fellons and Guns

Felons and Guns If a felon was not jailed due to a violent crime, he/she should be able to petition the court to have their 2A rights restored as well as the right to vote. If they committed violence during the crime, then sorry, but no, they should not be allowed a second chance to do it again.

    Howdy from Indiana

I should have mentioned, I am from Crothersville, Indiana. Its down toward the south end of the state. If you cannot find it on the map, don't worry, its not much of a concern in the area. Look up Seymore and you should be close. Austin is a little bigger town and is even closer. They loan us...

    Howdy from Indiana

Some helpful hints from a relocated Hoosier: They drink SWEET TEA down here by the gallon. You add about 4 cups of sugar per glass of tea while it is hot. Then ice. If you add the sugar when the tea is cold, the sugar just collects at the bottom. The sugar filled glass is a dead giveaway for a...

    Canik 55 Stingray 9mm

I appreciate the review of the Canik, I too had been looking at them but knew nothing of them, and so have not ordered one. I DO own a hi-point. Never had a problem with it. Its ugly, its heavy, its cheap, its accurate. I have not jammed it yet. I purchased it to teach my wife to shoot. If she...

Bodeo Model 1889 Enlisted Man's Revolver

I imagine it is very close. Reloading says to use a .44 magnum case, shortened and use a .422 diameter projectile.

Newbie From Summerville - Long Distance Shooter

Maybe your friend can let some of your 'friends' shoot with you on his property ??? :-) Yeah, I have only had the opportunity to shoot beyond 100 yards once in my life. I was amazed I hit the target all 5 shots as we were sitting on the ground with no rest and no scope. As said before, I only...

Bone Fish Grille - 'No Firearms requested'

Bone Fish Grille near the North Charleston coliseum. Open for Lunch and Dinner Mon - Sat They have a sign stating they do not want firearms in their restaurant. However, I did not see a NO CONCEALED WEAPON sign on the door, so I presume its OK if you keep it under wraps. They could still ask...

Anyone ever make 10.4 Italian Ordnance ammo?

Well, I purchased an old revolver and now need to figure out how to get some ammo to keep with it. Anyone ever make some Italian 10.4 Ordnance ammo? Its for the Bodeo Model 1889 Infantry revolver. I read that it uses 44 mag brass, a .303 neck die, and .423 179 - 200 grain lead projectiles...

Bodeo Model 1889 Enlisted Man's Revolver

Got an oldy from an unexpected source. This revolver is from 1918 and is chambered in 10.4mm Italian. It features a folding trigger and no trigger guard. Folding the loading gate down allows you to pull the trigger to advance the cylinder for loading without moving the hammer.
