I have had this Colt Combat Commander for a long time. It's been tweaked with a few WC and Ed Brown parts. And it has been very reliable for me. Don't own a Kimber. But don't think you can go wrong with either. But if you want to step up. I would go with a DW Combat Commander.

Maybe that's a better way to put it. Rarely see on Gunbroker.

I agree. I shoot my 4.25 Commander just as good or bad as a regular 5 inch 1911. Its just a tad snappier. But that's expected.
