    A good read

I read this book about once a year, just as a refresher, to keep a proper mind set in today's society. "Equal or Greater Force" by Kit Cessna. I just pulled it down from the book shelf & started on it again today.

    A word about alexap's holsters

Just got back from a 5 day trip to Gatlinburg, Tn., & surrounding areas. Wore the IWB holster for my Sig P250 .45 that he made, for about 9 hours a day, average. The drive up there,& back, in & out of the car, driving around, some light hiking, etc. Not one bit of discomfort the whole time. This...

    Sig Sauer P 250 magazine

I'm looking for a P 250 sub compact .45 cal, 6 round magazine. Cheaper than Dirt has one, however, I prefer to try local resources first. I bought the pistol about a month ago from Palm. State Armory. They don't even show the mags avail. on their web site. I hope I didn't buy a white elephant...

Any idea what this is ?

The head of it is a solid brass cone with a slot on the bottom that the flat knife style blade fits into about a 1/4 way in. The blade hinges 90 degrees open, the edge faces the brass cone. I've had this in a tool drawer at work. The campus I work at is dated back to the 1930's, & had a hospital...

    Paraprosdokians

PARAPROSDOKIANS: (Winston Churchill loved them) are figures of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected; frequently humorous. 1. Where there's a will, I want to be in it. 2. The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it's still on my list. 3...

    Gun logic 101

"If you cons?der that there has been an average of 160,000 troops ?n the Iraq Theater of operat?ons dur?ng the past 22 months and a total of 2112 deaths; that g?ves a f?rearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 sold?ers. The f?rearm death rate ?n Wash?ngton, DC ?s 80.8 per 100,000 for the same...

    Does CWP cover these?

Collapsable metal batons. I asked a few law enforcement officers on this, & their reply was that proper training is need for these, & they don't believe civilians can carry them. ...Scratching head, thinking, I am permitted & carry a lethal force weapon - pistol, what's the difference? In...
