I have owned the RO Classic when they first came out and are a quality firearm-I never liked the parkerized finish but that's just me.The pistol operated without a flaw.
I would have the extractor tension checked-may be too tight-I think they are just a downsize 1911-so possibly the extractor could be checked the same way.Just an idea
So upon replacing the trigger with a EGW Short Tank Thread I noticed that that ambi safety was bent a little towards the outside.It was very tight coming off-so I am not sure if I bent it or it was already bent.
So far I have replaced the trigger and now the safety with a EGW Low Paddle single...
I am the armorer at a local indoor range and gun rentals-we have one of the S&W 15-22 in our inventory that I am also waiting for the bolt gauge-hopefully for all involved this will not be some long drawn out wait.
This is the same thing I have done-I used the 47D and resprung with the #19 kit which has the round follower-which means you lose a round of capacity-I have found that most of my 1911's prefer the 7 round anyways
