I've used the Ram Prime before. I liked it alot, very easy to get consistent results with. My problem is I switched over to a Forster Co-ax press and the ram primer is not compatible with it.
I've got two right now:
A full size M&P 40 for the winter (it gets a little tough to conceal during the summer)
A Kahr P9 w/ crossbreed holster for the summer (best holster ever)
I think the Kahr isn't quite enough firepower (although it's definitely better than nothing!), but it's something...
All Lee Presses for the Intro class. We use a total of 4 presses, 3 Breech Lock Challenger presses and a new Lee Reloader (C- Frame) press.
The advanced class may feature some of these same presses, but we will also have a Hornady LNL Auto Progressive and a Forster Co-Ax on hand.

Thanks for the encouragement. I too learned a lot from "internet commandos", but also with experience, seminars, etc... I got into teaching this stuff because I saw that there was a lack of solid starter information, and a lot of stuff online that is just flat wrong.
Please help this project...
The class was a big success. I know that I learned a lot as an instructor, and the people taking the class all seemed to really enjoy it as well. I'll take all of the comments and constructive criticism from the students into account and try to improve the course for the next time.
Speaking of...

Hello all,
I have been asked by East Coast Gun Shop in Summerville (a sponsor on this forum) to instruct an Intro to Reloading Class on July 19th at 6pm. Just wanted to extend an invitation to any one thinking about learning to reload.

They wear out???
j/k
I've got well over 2500 through my Smith and Wesson M&P 40, and it's still going strong. No issues to be reported. Still accurate, still cycles perfectly, no heavy wear patterns.
The West Ashley Toyota Sign is not legit (unless they have changed it very recently), I've carried in there before.
One of the biggest offenders in my area, GOODWILL! I will never make a donation to Goodwill!
Closest facilities to Boggy Head Range are;
exit Boggy Head, turn left onto Boggy Head road (the dirt road). Cross Highway 41 (on other side is Bethera Rd.) Take Bethera Rd. for 2-2.5 miles. There is a small country store on the left just before the train tracks.
Well we had a great time at the banquet!!! We had 200 people turn out, and I'm quite confident we raised a great amount of money for the Friends of the NRA. Thanks to everyone for making it such a success!
We look forward to seeing everyone again next year, with your friends!
