I love the .410. Have several, single shot, double barrel, bolt action 4 shot. My son learned to shoot on the bolt action. He dropped as many doves with it as I did with my 12 guage. I always take a .410 when we go squirrel hunting. Shells are more expense, but it is what I learned to shoot on also.

Thanks for the info. Was told they have a chrome barrel and wanted to be sure before I attempted to clean it. PCShogun - Only have a small amount of military surplus. I only shoot non-corresive. Just keeping the surplus for hard times. How do you use the windex?

If any of you have a Saiga, what do you use to clean the barrel. I am not sure. Do not want to mess it up. I use Hopps 9 on all my other guns and mostly snakes for the barrels, including the Mosin. Any help is appreciated.....

I use a 30 caliber snake to clean mine. Took me a whole afternoon to get the grease off it when I first got it. I love to shoot mine. Esprcially at night. Puts out quite a fireball. I use mine for deer hunting. Bought some ammo last night at Academy Sports, 20 rounds, non corrisive, $11.95.

If you are in Tega Cay, try the next Dixie Gun & Knife show in Charlotte. I got my Mosin there and the ammo was cheap. Mosin was cheap also, $98.00. That was last fall.
