I do remember 17.9 at the cheap sataion in late 60's Full service too. I pumped gas at a
Sunoco station the summer I graduated ('71). It was I think 19.9 for 190 and like .42 for 260! Dang, racing gas for .42 a gallon. Of course I was 18 and making 1.60 an hour part time. Living home car payment was $25.00 a month. Dang I miss those days!
