I just got off the phone with my gunsmith, he called to tell me a little bit of news on another Stingray .45. Seems one of his customers has been shooting one, trying his best to get it to fail. 30,000 documented rounds, the gun was disassembled, and given a full physical. absolutely no signs of wear, he cleaned it and put it back on the range. A bit on the cleaning, the owner doesn't clean it, he takes it to the gunsmith's shop and has it cleaned, after about 12 to 15,000 rounds. I have several of the Tisas models, and, as I've said many times on here, the dam things are amazing. I don't have anywhere near this kind of round count, but I have no reason to doubt his claims. This same guy has ordered the all steel 10mm from Tisas, and plans to shoot it the same way, so sometime in the future, I'll get an update on his attempt at trashing that one.
