Good morning Sir,
I'm not real familiar with where to locate replacement sights for my American Classic Amigo 1911 45 acp.
I would like Tru-Glo night sights if available.
Their both Dovetail, and from what I've gathered,
Front sight 0.330" x 60-65°
Rear sight 0.495" x 65°
Not absolutely sure any of this is correct, but.
I've sent Tru-Glo two emails for information if they would have these sights and have never got a reply.
I was told and purchased a rear sight TG-H3
Tru-Glo site would fit, well the sight pusher someone trying to install it for me slipped and put a deep gouge in the sight.
Sorry, I can't live with that, I want to replace both sights, but not sure if the TG-H3 was a correct replacement, since something wasn't correct, to have the sight damaged, trying to install.
Any help and advise would be appreciated, I like the pistol and would like to have the correct size sights put back on.
Thanks,
TedR

Nice looking gun. You may think about contacting someone like Novak's and see what they think? Otherwise you may want to contact another known gunsmith and see what they might think? Hope you get it fixed to your satisfaction.

Thanks Bob for your reply.

Keep all your mags loaded, Empty mags are like Dead Power Tool Batteries,
Useless when you need them.
