Hi Guys

I went to the range the other day. After a while i started getting feeding problems. The next round wont load and gets squeezed.

I thought it might have been lack of lube. Went home and lubed the bolt and carrier. Went back to the range Again today and same problem.

It happens every 10 round or so.

I have tried different mags and different ammo.

anyone have a guess on what the problem might be.

THANKS

factory ammo? or handloads? Looks like bolt is not cycling far enough rearward to get behind the round to push feed

Have you tried adjusting your gas regulator to a higher setting the piston drive systems can be really finicky if they aren't on the right setting. Also the buffer springs were having tension issues either being to tight or not tight enough causing issues with .223 ammo. Try shooting 5.56 with it if you haven't already and see if it has the same issue. There is also alot more information on the sig sauer forum about issues with the 516.

Thanks Chad.

I´ll try to look at the gas settings. I´ve had it on the same setting since new and has probably run 3000 rounds through it.

I tried both .223 and 5.56.

I´ll try to post it on Sig Sauer Forum or see if Theres a topic on my prob
