Last picture was blurry :( way to ruin a gun porn session! Its a beautiful gun. Not sure I love the trigger though... maybe a pull would change my mind!

the last pic was amateur porn haha!

and the trigger breaks clean with no creep at 4lbs, no up and down or side to side play.

poop I will post a picture tonight with the sights on, I am just finishing up machining the front sight.

sights on!

The rear is a Harrison combat wide notch, and I machined the front sight today, and hand serrated. hopefully monday she will be on the way to hard chrome and the Display box will be done and ready to get this raffle rolling.

Thanks all and good luck, I will post completed pictures upon return.....:)

the flat top lowers the sight plain and allows you to run a taller front sight, the serrations reduce glare and are a nice touch on a customs pistol.

Thats some nice work. Colt built some factory flat tops (no cuts or checkers added) in the FR serial numbers guns built in the late 80's or early 90's. I have one- it makes a difference- in a rush, you can use that flat amost like rib when shooting reflexifly

Some luck stiffs gonna get a work of art there.

never quit is the motto of the foundation and its on the slide. as well as a special serno WWP2012 for worth while project.

ok range report time,

500 rounds no failure to feed or eject
tested ammo
Winchester 230g JRN white box
Winchester 185g JFN white box
Winchester 230g JHP defense loads

25 yard field fire from ransom rest
ammo test: 185 grain jacked flat nose Winchester white box ammo (this ammo is off the self from wal-mart)
Group size: 1.004 center to center from a ransom rest
Shots: 5 shot group

After the gun returns from hard chrome I will shoot match grade hand loads and re-post the results, as most shooters know factory guns will not shoot under 2 inchs with Winchester ammo, so if Joe blow can go to wal-mart and pick up a box and shoot 1.004@25yards, its hard to beat that folks.

Thanks,

Anthony Durning
