LAR OPS-4 Help Requested

I just built my lower and I was going to put my own upper together but realized I would have to invest 100-200 in tools. I took it to a local smith but he said that he did not have the tools to install a barrel on a OPS-4 receiver(wouldn't fit in the action block). I was hoping someone in here had worked with them before and could give me some insight has to how to mount in. Or perhaps another smith I could take it to.

Midwest industries 12" SS Handguard
YHM low profile gas block
Black melonite rifle has tube
Gas pin

I sent my upper to Loki Weapon systems almost a year ago they assembled it for me, u might give them a call for advice. My handle is on the left side only complaints are you have to stagger mags slightly if you run a mag coupler (i only do have this when there is a mandatory reload). Second complaint is my Burris AR pepr mount has the nuts that stick out on the left side, I catch my hand on them occasionally. Planning on replacing with a JP mount.
Over all I like the upper, bolt carrier is extremely easy to clean.

If someone local doesn't have the tools let me know and I will send you my upper block and multi tool. My block uses the uppers' lugs so it should fit. I will send it to you to try if you promise to return it. :scout: Let me know.

I just found out one of my buddies that used to be an armorer for the AF thinks he can work one it. We are going to try that tomorrow night. If that doesn't work I might take you up on borrowing your block. Thank you for the offer. (fingers crossed we can get it together tomorrow).

No, Problem. Just let me know if you need it. I am a little surprised your local 'smith couldn't help you. But then again I am spoiled and my local 'smith is Benny Hill from Triangle Shooting Sports so make that VERY spoiled!!!

I have a block the goes inside & uses the pin holes of the upper to connect it.
I'd be happy to give you a hand.

Got it together using aluminum blocks on the barrel. Thanks again for everyone's offer. It's great to have this kind of support locally.
