Just to clarify my post, the Eberlestock doesn’t have wheels.

I have one - perfect fit/finish, fantastically-handy for carry, very accurate from a rest…but I can’t hit a barn with it from 5 yards. Just doesn’t suit me. So pretty I haven’t had the heart to sell it.

@sourdough ‘s recommendation for wheels makes a bunch of sense. Since I don't compete, and my home range is on gravel, surrounded by farmland and woods, I need the carried sort. For that, I can't recommend the Eberlestock Bang Bang highly enough. Idiotic name, and a bit pricey, but...

The only 1911 mags I own other than a few that came with guns, are Wilson 47D. They’ve just never let me down…even in my ACW, in which they weren’t recommended…

Thanks Fred - Gunsite has been a longtime bucket-list event for me. A friend of mine - our former local sheriff - retired and became an instructor at Gunsite, and he really helped push me to just bite the bullet and do it this year.
